      On June 21, 2006 VAS Industries, Inc. (the exclusive U.S. importer of CayinTM products) prevailed in swift series of legal proceedings that it brought against Mr. Ge Liu (a/k/a "Jim", the single man operator of "New York Sound, L.L.C." forbidding him, his company and all their associates from advertising, offering, importing, distributing and/or selling any and all CayinTM products in the United States. See the United States Southern District of New York case no. 06-cv-3454 (LMM).

 

       This reinforces that only CayinTM products purchased through VAS or one of its Authorized dealers will be genuine high quality CayinTM products intended for the United States market, and entitled to the VAS three (3) year warranty and service program. 

 

       The crux of the Court's ruling is intended to protect the U.S. consuming public from being confused by the dissimilar products that were plied by Mr. Liu and New York Sound, and to uphold the high integrity associated with the true  CayinTM brand line of products intended for the United States. With the Court's backing, VAS will aim to eradicate other unauthorized dealers that appear in the marketplace.
